When you choose to donate, we make the process simple and meaningful. We’ll pick up your used furniture for a small fee and ensure it finds its way to someone who truly needs it. What types of furniture do you accept?
We accept gently-used furniture such as sofas, chairs, tables, dressers, beds, and more. Please refer to our full list of accepted items for details.
Are there any items you do not accept?
Yes, we do not accept broken or heavily damaged items, and furniture infested with pests. Please see our unacceptable items list for specifics.
How do I schedule a furniture pick-up?
You can fill out the pick-up request form on our “Donate Furniture” page, fill out a few details and select a convenient date for collection.
Is there a fee for furniture pick-ups?
Yes, we charge a nominal fee to cover transportation and operational costs. It will range from $100 – $150. The exact fee will be provided once you have filled out a form and we reach out to you with a quote within 24 hours.
Do I need to prepare the furniture for pick-up?
Yes, please ensure the furniture is clean, accessible, and ready to be loaded by our team. Disassembling large items, if possible, is appreciated.
What areas do you offer pick-up services in?
We currently operate within the Metro Vancouver area. Please contact us if you’re unsure whether we cover your location.
Can I donate multiple pieces of furniture at once?
Absolutely. We encourage bulk donations. Please include all items in your pick-up request form so we can plan accordingly.
Do I need to be home during the pick-up?
Yes.
What happens to the furniture after it’s picked up?
At Furnish Forward, we will be donating your furniture directly to marginalized and displaced families and individuals, providing them with essential support and helping to create a more inclusive and compassionate community.
Can I cancel or reschedule my pick-up?
Yes, you can cancel or reschedule your pick-up by contacting us at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may incur a fee.

- Furnish Forward reserves the right to decline any furniture donation upon in-person inspection, even if it was pre-approved online. Items must meet our quality standards to ensure they are suitable for rehoming.

To ensure efficient service, Furnish Forward offers furniture removal and delivery services on designated days based on your area:

New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Moody, Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, and Maple Ridge.
When booking your service, please select a date that corresponds to your location. This Schedule allows us to provide timely and organized pickups and deliveries while minimizing environmental impact.
