Frequently Asked Questions 

What types of furniture do you accept? 

We accept gently-used furniture such as sofas, chairs, tables, dressers, beds, and more. Please refer to our full list of accepted items for details.

Yes, we do not accept broken or heavily damaged items, and furniture infested with pests. Please see our unacceptable items list for specifics.

You can fill out the pick-up request form on our “Donate Furniture” page, fill out a few details and select a convenient date for collection. 

Yes, we charge a nominal fee to cover transportation and operational costs. It will range from $100 – $150. The exact fee will be provided once you have filled out a form and we reach out to you with a quote within 24 hours. 

Yes, please ensure the furniture is clean, accessible, and ready to be loaded by our team. Disassembling large items, if possible, is appreciated.  

We currently operate within the Metro Vancouver area. Please contact us if you’re unsure whether we cover your location.  

Absolutely. We encourage bulk donations. Please include all items in your pick-up request form so we can plan accordingly.

At Furnish Forward, we will be donating your furniture directly to marginalized and displaced families and individuals, providing them with essential support and helping to create a more inclusive and compassionate community.  

Yes, you can cancel or reschedule your pick-up by contacting us at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may incur a fee.

Service Schedule Policy

To ensure efficient service, Furnish Forward offers furniture removal and delivery services on designated days based on your area:

Vancouver, Burnaby, West Vancouver and North Vancouver

Surrey, Richmond, Delta and Langley

Wednesday

New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Moody, Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, and Maple Ridge.

When booking your service, please select a date that corresponds to your location. This Schedule allows us to provide timely and organized pickups and deliveries while minimizing environmental impact.
