At Furnish Forward, we believe that everyone deserves a comfortable and dignified living space. If you are a low-income individual, a new comer to Canada, a student, a refugee, or someone recently displaced due to a natural disaster, you may qualify for free furniture through our program.
We understand that setting up a home can be challenging, especially when facing financial or personal hardships. That’s why we work to provide essential furniture items to those who need them the most, ensuring a smoother transition into a safe and comfortable living environment.

To determine your eligibility for free furniture, we kindly ask you to provide some additional information by filling out the eligibility form below.

Important Disclaimer:
Please note that all items are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you see an item marked as “Reserved,” it means someone else has either already claimed it or is in the process of doing so. However, there’s still a chance that the item may become available again. If the “Reserved” tag disappears, it’s back up for grabs—so check back frequently!

Fair Usage Policy
At Furnish Forward, our mission is to support individuals and families in need by redistributing essential furniture and housewares. To ensure fairness and equitable distribution of resources, we’ve established the following guidelines:
Item Limitations per Household
To meet the basic needs of all applicants, we place limits on the number of similar items that can be claimed by a single household. This ensures more families have access to essential furniture.
Sofas
Maximum of 2 per household
Dining Chairs
Maximum of 6 per household
Beds
1 per household member
(up to 4 beds per household)
Justification for Additional Items
If your household has unique needs (e.g., a large family or specific health requirements), you may submit a request for additional items. Each case will be reviewed on an individual basis.
Respect for Community Needs
We kindly ask recipients to claim only what their household requires. This helps us serve as many people as possible and maintain a balance in resource allocation.
Non-Transferability of Items
Items provided by Furnish Forward are intended for the use of the recipient's household only. They may not be resold, gifted, or traded. All furniture is provided 'as-is' with no returns or exchanges.
Availability and Fairness
All items are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. In case of high demand, Furnish Forward reserves the right to prioritize households with greater needs based on the information provided in the application form.
Pricing
At Furnish Forward, all furniture is completely free to those in need. To sustain our operations and cover delivery costs, we charge a service fee based on the numbers of items selected:
1 – 3 items

4 – 6 items
$180
7 – 10 items
$300
10+ items
$450
Think about it – a single bed can cost over $400, but with our service, you can furnish nearly an entire home for as little as $300. This service fee helps us continue our mission of supporting marginalized and displaced families while promoting sustainability.
Service Schedule Policy
To ensure efficient service, Furnish Forward offers furniture removal and delivery services on designated days based on your area:
